Teeth Whitening

Achieve the white smile you have always wanted with a whitening system that suits your individual needs and lifestyle.

Whiter teeth can improve the appearance of your smile. Teeth can become discoloured over time the most common reason is surface stains on your enamel. This is down to everyday food, drinks and lifestyle choices. Over time, these stains can work their way to the layer below enamel, known as dentine. When this becomes stained, the whole tooth looks darker because of the translucency of enamel.

We can help you achieve the white smile you have always wanted with a whitening system that suits your individual needs and lifestyle. Here at Dental Health Spa we have a few Whitening systems to choose from – our team can advise the best solution to whiten your smile.

Philips™ Zoom WhiteSpeed is one of the most popular teeth whitening systems; that delivers exceptional results, these can be as much as 40% better than a comparable non-light activated whitening system. This procedure whitens your smile and helps to get rid of stains that naturally occur through ageing, certain foods and drinks and even medication. Our wonderful Dental Team use the Philips Zoom WhiteSpeed method which combines a whitening gel with a special LED accelerator for speedy results and a brighter smile that can be up to six times lighter than your original shade.

How Philips™ Zoom WhiteSpeed works

For the first step of the Zoom Whitening, we protect your gums and soft tissues and will then apply a thin layer of whitening gel onto your teeth. This is made from hydrogen peroxide, which will prepare your teeth for the remainder of the procedure. The Zoom light and whitening gel work collectively to penetrate and remove stains and discolouration. We then position a blue LED light that will shine onto the teeth in order to speed up the whitening process.

It is great for those who have sensitive teeth and usually feel pain or discomfort when eating hot or cold foods . This is one of the reasons it is so sought after amongst patients. You must have a prescription for whitening from your dentist and be dentally fit before whitening treatments. Philips™ Zoom WhiteSpeed is suitable for you if you have healthy teeth & gums and not pregnant or breastfeeding.

The fast and effective post-hygiene treatment designed for patients who are looking for a practical and fast way to obtain a whiter smile after a dental hygiene session. You need just 10 minutes after your hygiene therapy to obtain surprising results and give your teeth a brighter appearance! BlancOne® CLICK is also ideal to become more familiar with teeth whitening, even for those who are afraid of excessive sensitivity as it uses a low concentration of carbamide peroxide (16%).

How BlancOne® CLICK works

After mixing BlancOne® CLICK’s two components, the whitener and the activator, the gel will be applied to the teeth and activated with a special blue light for 10 minutes. Thanks to its special formulation and utilising light energy, the oxygen generated will not be dispersed externally (the gel swells), but will remain trapped in the gel and completely conveyed toward the enamel, maximising the whitening action. Instant results and great as a top up for those who have previously whitened their teeth.
After having tried BlancOne® CLICK you can decide to obtain even deeper and longer lasting results merely through a simple upgrade of a complete BlancOne® TOUCH pen to keep your smile white safely at home with a handy pen. We use after an EMS GBT Hygiene treatment with Airflow. Ensuring your teeth and gums are clean, plaque free and surface staining from food and debunks removed; before whitening!

Whiten your smile from the comfort of your own home, we make custom trays for a perfect fit and provide whitening gels for either day or night time use.

How Philips™Home Whitening works

Simply add the gel to the tray and wear for the specified time to whiten your teeth over a 2 week period. Your Dental professional will advise which would be best for your individual needs either day white or night white gel.
